Yes, Belmont Park offers one of the most affordable tickets in all of sports with General Admission starting at just $7 (plus taxes & fees) when purchased in advance*. GA grants access to the apron, backyard, paddock viewing areas, and the ground floor of the building.
Outside food and factory-sealed water, carried in soft-sided containers, are permitted. Hundreds of backyard picnic tables are available for GA guests free of charge.
*$10 when purchased day-of.
Reserved Grandstand Seating is available on select days during the 2026 fall meet*; each $50 ticket includes a $25 food & drink credit to the nearby Homestretch Market!
*September 26; October 3, 24, and 31, 2026. On all other days during the 2026 fall meet, GA guests may sit in Grandstand Seating.
Belmont Park features a variety of premium hospitality spaces, including:
- Box Seats, offering an unparalleled race day experience perched above the wire on the second floor
- Turf Club Lounge & Restaurant, a high-end venue on the second floor featuring menus curated by signature chef Marc Forgione
- The Overlook, a climate-controlled hospitality lounge on the second floor with exceptional two-way sightlines of both the finish line and the paddock
- The Stretch View, a second-floor hospitality experience for larger groups to relax in comfort and enjoy the thrill of the races
- Triple Crown level, a premium third-floor restaurant space that offers an elevated dining experience, a terrace overlooking the paddock, and luxurious Loge Boxes
- Champion Suites, private indoor/outdoor spaces on the fourth floor that include a VIP entrance, paddock-view balcony, and all-inclusive amenities

Belmont Park celebrates the traditions of horse racing, including the time-honored custom of dressing for the races. Guests are invited to embrace the occasion and express their personal style in a manner that reflects the elegance and spirit of the sport. NYRA has established dress code guidelines for each area of the venue to ensure that all guests enjoy an experience appropriate to the setting.
General Admission – Ground Floor
Belmont Park's General Admission areas welcome guests in casual to smart casual attire. While no formal dress code is enforced, neat and appropriate attire is expected and encouraged.
SUGGESTED ATTIRE:
- Casual to smart casual attire
- Sundresses, skirts, and dressy separates
- Chinos, shorts, and collared shirts
- Clean, neat footwear
- Hats, fascinators, and creative race day headwear of all kinds
NOT PERMITTED:
- Clothing with offensive, indecent, or inappropriate language or imagery
- Clothing displaying political statements or imagery. NYRA reserves the right to determine what constitutes a political statement in this context and will consult with legal counsel regarding specific enforcement guidelines
- Shirts and shoes are required at all times
Premium Areas & Dining
Belmont Park's Dining & Premium areas on the second floor offer an elevated race day experience. A polished yet relaxed dress code is recommended for all guests in these areas, reflecting the sophistication of the setting while remaining accessible and comfortable.
Recommended for Women:
- Dresses, skirts, or elegant separates
- Pantsuits and dress trousers
- Blouses, polo shirts, and smart tops
- Dressy flats, heels, wedges, or clean smart footwear
- Hats and fascinators strongly encouraged
Recommended for Men:
- Collared shirts including polo shirts, button-downs, and dress shirts
- Dress trousers, slacks, dress jeans, or khaki shorts
- Blazers, sport coats, and vests are optional but encouraged
- Closed-toe shoes required. Dress shoes, loafers, clean smart sneakers acceptable
Not Permitted in Dining & Premium Areas
- Graphic tees
- Cargo shorts
- Frayed, torn, or distressed denim
- Athletic wear of any kind including tracksuits, sports shorts, and athletic footwear
- Flip-flops and open-toed shoes for men
- Clothing with offensive, indecent, or inappropriate language or imagery
- Clothing displaying political statements or imagery
NYRA reserves the right to deny entry to or remove any guest whose attire does not meet the standards outlined in this policy or is otherwise deemed inappropriate at NYRA's sole discretion. NYRA staff will address dress code concerns as early in the guest journey as possible, including at entry gates, to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all.
The new Belmont Park will host racing and events year-round. Live racing is conducted from early September through mid-July. Climate-controlled and winterized viewing areas are available throughout the building for the colder months.
The existing main dirt track and two turf courses have been completely renovated; a new, all-weather synthetic surface has also been added, which will be utilized throughout the winter. As a result, the new Belmont Park features the safest and most modernized racing surfaces in the sport.
