Pick 6 carryover of $71K on Sunday at Belmont Park
Sunday’s card at Belmont Park will be bolstered by a Pick 6 carryover of $71,365 after the multi-race wager went unsolved on Saturday’s 10-race card.
The $1 Pick 6 returned $433.39 to bettors who selected 5-of-6 winners correctly.
Saturday’s Pick 6 sequence kicked off in Race 5 with Titan Ready [No. 8, $4.84*] capturing a 6 1/2-furlong maiden special weight on the inner turf under jockey Samuel Marin for dual Eclipse Award-winning trainer Brad Cox. In Race 6, a one-mile state-bred maiden special weight on the Widener turf, Ricardo Santana, Jr. earned a riding triple by navigating Captain George [No. 10, $7.78] to victory for conditioner Amelia Green.
Dylan Davis guided the Rob Atras-trained Special Ops [No. 7, $6.08*] to victory in a 6 1/2-furlong claimer, in Race 7. In Race 8, a one-turn mile allowance, jockey Jose Lezcano and trainer Linda Rice visited the winner’s circle with Magnanimous Max [No. 10, $16.58], marking Lezcano’s second win of the day.
In Race 9, the $175,000 Floral Park, the Miguel Clement-conditioned Love Cervere [No. 1, $8.94] prevailed under Hall of Famer Joel Rosario, who completed a riding double on the card.
With only 4-of-10 horses covered in the Race 10 finale, a 1 1/8-mile state-bred maiden claimer on the inner turf, Beau Cheval [No. 9, $23.68] proved best with Kendrick Carmouche up for trainer Joe Sharp to trigger the carryover.
Sunday’s Pick 6 will begin in Race 4 at approximately 2:57 p.m. Eastern. First post is 1:10 p.m. for the nine-race card, which features the $175,000 Forever Together in Race 8.
