Pick 6 carryover of $46K on Wednesday at Belmont Park

Wednesday’s card at Belmont Park will be bolstered by a Pick 6 carryover of $46,126 after the multi-race wager went unsolved on Sunday’s nine-race program.

The $1 Pick 6 returned $199.94 to bettors who selected 5-of-6 winners correctly.

The sequence kicked off in Race 4 with Supplier [No. 1, $37.84] securing Hall of Famer Javier Castellano’s third win of the day in a six-furlong inner turf maiden for trainer Michael Trombetta. The Kelsey Danner-conditioned Ground Support [No. 4, $6.32*] followed with a win in Race 5, the first division of the Grade 3 Glen Cove, guided to victory in the seven-furlong Widener turf sprint by jockey Adam Beschizza.

Next up in Race 6, the Rob Falcone, Jr.-trained Mo for the King [No. 6, $5.46] was much-the-best under Kendrick Carmouche in a six-furlong New York-bred allowance. Race 7 saw the Manny Franco-piloted Material Girl [No. 3, $5.12*] prevail in a 6 1/2-furlong state-bred allowance for five-time Eclipse Award-winner Chad Brown.

Franco doubled up in Race 8 atop the Brendan Walsh-trained Lion Lake [No. 5, $4.04*] in the second division of the Grade 3 Glen Cove.

With 7-of-12 horses covered in the Race 9 finale, Juliet on Approach [No. 7, $33.46] closed to victory under Edgard Zayas, taking the six-furlong inner turf claimer for trainer Jamie Begg, and triggering the carryover.

Wednesday’s Pick 6 will begin in Race 3 at approximately 2:12 p.m. Eastern. First post for the eight-race card is 1:10 p.m.
