Pick 6 carryover of $37K on Sunday at Belmont at the Big A
Sunday’s card at Belmont at the Big A will be bolstered by a Pick 6 carryover of $37,783 after the multi-race wager went unsolved on Saturday’s 10-race program.
The $1 Pick 6 returned $2,636.23 to bettors who selected 5-of-6 winners correctly.
Saturday’s Pick 6 kicked off in Race 5 with a starter allowance win from Baseball Lady [No. 2, $8.38] with Kendrick Carmouche in the irons for trainer Linda Rice. The Edgard Zayas-piloted Shared Success [No. 1, $32.98] followed in Race 6 with a turf claiming victory for trainer Jamie Begg.
In Race 7, Carmouche scored in the featured NYSSS Spectacular Bid with Nessuna Pagina [No. 9, $21.58], who moved to a perfect 3-for-3 for trainer Paul Barrow. Race 8 saw jockey Manny Franco land his third win on the card aboard Dinner Royale [No. 4, $8.74] in a maiden claiming sprint for conditioner Amelia Green.
Franco returned to the winner’s circle for the fourth time on the day when guiding the Wayne Potts-trained Tapwrits Temper [No. 10, $8.04] to a claiming score in Race 9.
With the carryover already guaranteed heading into the Race 10 finale, the favored Tuthilltown [No. 8, $6.70*] graduated in a turf maiden claimer with Zayas up for trainer Rodolphe Brisset.
Sunday’s Pick 6 will begin in Race 4 at approximately 2:36 p.m. Eastern. First post on the nine-race card is 1:10 p.m.
