Double Pick 6 carryover of $138K on Friday’s card at Aqueduct Racetrack

Friday’s card at Aqueduct Racetrack will be bolstered by a double Pick 6 carryover of $138,225 after the multi-race wager went unsolved for the second consecutive card on Thursday’s seven-race program.

The $1 Pick 6 returned $974.03 to bettors who selected 5-of-6 winners correctly.

Thursday's Pick 6 sequence kicked off in Race 2 with a win from the David Donk-trained Register [No. 7, $11.58] in a seven-furlong claimer with jockey Dylan Davis in the saddle. In Race 3, a six-furlong New York-bred maiden, Dalila Rivera navigated Floy Joy [No. 4, $32.24] to a first-out victory and a training double for Donk.

Race 4 saw Sahin Civaci pilot Ubique [No. 3, $7.22] to victory for conditioner Saffie Joseph, Jr. in a seven-furlong maiden auction optional claimer. In Race 5, a one-turn mile claimer, jockey Manny Franco visited the winner’s circle aboard Secured Landing [No. 3, $4.48*] for trainer Fernando Abreu.

In Race 6, a one-turn mile claimer, the New York-bred Cicciobello [No. 1, $28.94] prevailed under Jose Baez for trainer Oscar Barrera, III.

With only Best Impression covered for the Race 7 finale, a seven-furlong claimer, She’s Cool [No. 2, $9.40] proved best with Jose Lezcano up for trainer Chris Englehart. 

Friday’s Pick 6 will begin in Race 3 at approximately 2:11 p.m. Eastern. First post for the eight-race card is 1:10 p.m.
